Prayer of Faith

In James 5:15, James talks about the "prayer of faith." Not prayer "in" faith or prayer "with" faith, but prayer "of " faith. Think about what that means because it makes all the difference in God's answering that prayer. We don't pray and then try to have faith. Because we are confident and deeply convicted and convinced of God's ability and desire to do what we ask, we pray. We must first decide not to doubt, then we pray. We are not supposed to pray a prayer and then try not to doubt God. You see, "of" means that it "originates out of." The prayer we pray comes out of the faith we already have. We pray because we are already confident people. Let's pray the prayer that comes out of our faith! Enjoy Life!
