Timing
One thing you can count on as a child of the King is perfect timing. You can depend on the fact that God knows just when to show up and just when to carry out what needs to happen in our lives. He's not too slow, and He's not too quick; He's right on time!
Now that's not to say that I haven't felt, at times, like He might be cutting it close, or maybe I wondered if He was going to show up at all. But He has never let me down.
This divine timing is an element of the Kingdom supply. In order to tap in though, we need at least three things. One, we need the ability to hear. I mean to hear spiritually. The neat thing is that hearing the voice of the Shepherd is an absolute for His sheep. John said that we recognize His voice and we follow His voice if we belong to Him. So our part in this timing thing is to lean in and listen for His voice. Two, We also need patience. We must be able to wait if He says so. Patience is in automatic supply as a fruit of the Holy Spirit, just tap in. Three, we need what I call godly anticipation. Let me explain. Someone may call it discernment, but it's that uncanny ability to know that something is about to happen, something is about to change, something is on its way, and it puts us in a ready mode. Its that feeling, that knowing inside that makes us want to get up to the starting line to get ready and to get set. We don't want to be standing around, doing our own thing when He says, "Go!" We want to be perched and ready. That's what godly anticipation does; it assists us in getting ready and being ready. Are you ready? This day may be the day of His great timing in your life.
Listen, wait, anticipate!

I completely agree with you about timing. Being in the right place at the right time is more than just "luck." I believe that listening to the Holy Spirit, waiting on God, and being prepared for His move is what puts us in place to receive his blessing - at just the right time.
I don't know how many times God has "come through" for me at just the right moment, or I have met someone at just the right time, or been somewhere to catch or discover just the right thing I needed at that time.
Looking back, I can see the three elements at work in my life - having never recognized them before. What I attributed to "blessing" or "annointing" is really about preparation. Thanks for the insight.
