The Bible

The Scriptures have been given, so we can know what God has provided. It's a resource manual. It's the book of "how to" for the Believer. I want to issue a challenge today: study Ephesians Chapter 1 and look for every resource God has made available to you, according to that Chapter.
List those resources on a piece of paper. Now pick out two of them that you will believe and walk in today. Just claim them as a promise that they are truly yours for the taking.

When you realize what you already have at work inside of you, you will begin to walk out that abundant life Christ promised. I'm chosen. I'm redeemed. I'm forgiven. I'm blessed. I'm safe. I'm loved. I'm strong. I'm wise. I'm sure. It's all there. Go find it in your resource manual: The Bible.

If there ever was a chapter that explains who we are in Christ, Ephesians 1 is it. As many times as I have read, pondered, preached and written about this chapter, I still struggle to get it.
It's only recently I really began to understand who I am and the value I have through Christ's redemption. This is a great post. Thanks for the encouragement.
