Our Father Can Tell Us What To Do

One of the promises is that our Heavenly Father can and will tell us and show us what to do in the everyday situations we encounter in life. Here are some points associated with that truth.

1. Our first goal and focus should be about learning how to hear Him. Maybe He speaks through the Scripture. Maybe He speaks through prayer. Maybe He speaks in your thoughts. Maybe you hear His voice in your heart. However He speaks to you, you must find His voice and follow.
2. Once we hear His voice, we must trust Him. He knows what He's doing. Sometimes it may not make human sense. His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. Still, He's trustworthy.
3. When we know what He wants us to do or what He wants us to say, we must obey!
   
4. Once we have obeyed, we have to leave the rest in His hands. We need to stay out of His way.
