1) Proactive in the way we think
I can decide what I’m going to think and how I’m going to think before the problem comes up. “Everything is going to be ok, no matter what.” “Christ is with me all the way through this.” “I’m not going to worry.” I Corinthians 8 tell us that “All things work together for good…to those who love Him.”2) Proactive in what we say
I can decide to make positive, hope-filled statements. James teaches us that life and death are in our mouths.3) Proactive in what we do
We can decide to follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We can give our concerns and problems to Him. In Philippians Paul teaches us that God works inside us to want to and to do what pleases Him. So, He’ll give us the motivation as well as the power to carry out what’s best for our lives.4) Proactive in what we believe
Jesus is enough! No one can simplify life more than Jesus. Believe that! Jesus tells us to come to Him, and He will give us rest. He'll swap loads. He'll take our heavy load and exchange it for one that's light and easy to carry. That's His promise. Believe Him!
